Connection to place: my interview with The Systems Sandbox podcast

I’ve had the power of connection to place on my mind this weekend.

When we started designing the Paddock Project in Castlemaine, it was just a dirt paddock. But we shared a story—a story about bringing back the powerful owl, the legless lizard, the golden sun moth, and the growling grass frog.

We imagined a community that could grow together, care for the land, and build something meaningful. Today, the people living there are doing just that, creating a vibrant ecosystem for themselves and for nature.

In this week’s episode of The Systems Sandbox, I shared more about the Paddock Project and how stories like these inspire care and belonging.
